What to expect

Cases stall at the door if ID or IP docs fail. Listing action moves after ownership approval. Answer counter-notices on the portal deadline.

What to prepare

  1. Original file; screenshots of the infringing listing + comparison.
  2. Exact AliExpress product URLs (detail pages, not shop home/search).
  3. Discovery date.
  4. ID proof: passport/national ID/driver's license (individual) or business registration (entity).
  5. IP proof: copyright registration certificate, or a completed Copyright Claim Statement for unregistered copyright, plus creation and first-publication evidence.

If you already use ProvenPix (optional)

Verify page + UTC/SHA-256 show when the file existed, for unregistered copyright (not a substitute for an official registration certificate).

Which page to open

Steps / fields

  1. Register → submit Proof of Identification.
  2. Add Copyright; upload certificate or Copyright Claim Statement.
  3. Wait for IPR ownership approval before expecting fast listing action.
  4. Submit a Complaint: choose AliExpress.com → select verified copyright → choose the copyright / unauthorized-image reason → paste listing hyperlinks → upload proof.
  5. Track status/history in IPP; answer counter-notices on time.

Common failure modes

  • Rejected ID or IP docs.
  • Shop URL instead of product URL.
  • Mixing counterfeit or trademark claims with photo theft.
  • Ignoring counter-notice deadlines.

How ProvenPix helps

  • Verify page + UTC/SHA-256 support a Copyright Claim Statement and show when the file existed.
  • Evidence pack organizes URLs, comparisons, Record ID for upload.
  • Monitoring feeds AliExpress hits into Add to complaint list.
